Junior Eagle Zone Information

2025–26 School Year (Current)

Junior Eagle Zone is a childcare program available to all Pre-K students enrolled in the Eden Prairie School District. Families must register at the same school where their child attends Pre-K preschool.

Enrollment must match your child’s Pre-K schedule. For example, if your child is enrolled in a 4-day Pre-K class, you must register for the 4-day Junior Eagle Zone option. Likewise, students in a 5-day Pre-K class must register for the 5-day option.

Please note that Junior Eagle Zone registration will only be accepted once your child’s Pre-K enrollment has been confirmed. Contract approvals will begin after March 2025.

Junior Eagle Zone is not available on non-school days when classes are not in session.

Families wishing to make schedule changes must submit requests at least two weeks in advance. This ensures we have appropriate staffing in place to provide a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for all students. We appreciate your partnership in making Eagle Zone a positive experience for your child!

One time registration fees for the school year are:

• January 20th - February 20th: registration fee waived
• February 20th - June 10th, 2025: $75/child non-refundable fee
• After June 10th, 2025 registration: $100/child non-refundable fee

Rates and Fees:

• Before School Care:
  • Cedar Ridge and Forest Hills: $13.00/session
  • Eden Lake and Prairie View: $14.00/session
  • Oak Point: $12.50/session
• Junior Eagle Zone Half Day Care:
  • $29/session for all sites
• After School Care:
  • Cedar Ridge and Forest Hills: $20.00/session
  • Eden Lake and Prairie View: $19.00/session
  • Oak Point: $20.50/session

2026–27 School Year

The 26-27 School Year Junior Eagle Zone Childcare will open for registration on Monday, March 23rd at 8:00am! More information will be available soon.
