This class offers a supportive space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore yoga as a practice for steadiness, self-awareness, and everyday resilience.Psychologically-informed yoga blends gentle movement, breath, mindfulness, and reflection to help support the nervous system from the body up. Rather than focusing on performance, flexibility, or “getting it right,” this class invites you to notice what is happening in your body, mind, and surroundings with curiosity and compassion. Together, we will explore simple practices that help you feel more grounded, present, and connected to yourself. You’ll be invited to notice sensations, thoughts, emotions, and the space around you without judgment, while building greater awareness of what supports your own sense of steadiness and capacity.Resilience is not about pretending everything is fine or pushing through. It is about learning how to meet life as it is, with more compassion, awareness, and support. What you discover on the mat can become something you carry into everyday life — during stressful moments, transitions, challenges, and ordinary days alike.This is an online course.     American Heart Association Heartsaver® CPR AED & First Aid Training Certification Course

    Learn to follow a plan to act quickly and effectively in a life-threatening situation. You will be trained in CPR and Airway Obstruction for adults, children, and infants by practicing your skills with manikins and AED (Automated External Defibrillators) trainers. You will be practicing skills that require working on your hands and knees, bending, standing and lifting. Please inform your instructor if you have any physical conditions that might prevent these activities. Consider bringing a pad or blanket to kneel on. Additionally, this course covers first aid. Learn a plan of action to recognize and deal with sudden illnesses, injuries, and environmental emergencies. This video-based, instructor-led course teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. Successful participation in this all in-person course results in an American Heart Association ‎Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED ‎Heartsaver® Certification. The Certificate is valid for two years. The course is the same for first timers and those who are recertifying. Note: We are back to fully in-person training. There is no e-Learning component to this course.

    Slow down and connect with nature through the practice of forest bathing.Inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, forest bathing is a slow and mindful practice, connecting with nature through the senses. As a Certified Forest Therapy Guide, Mary will offer a series of invitations to explore a deeper connection with nature and with yourself. Research has shown that spending time in nature has many benefits including decreasing stress, lowering blood pressure, and improving mood.This is an outdoor class and will be held rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather with comfortable walking shoes and layered clothing.

Learn how to reduce the risk of osteoporosis and how to re-gain bone mass. Your instructor is trained by the QPR Institute, whose mission is "to save lives and reduce suicidal behaviors by providing innovative, practical and proven suicide prevention training." Just like individuals trained in CPR can help save lives, so, too, can individuals trained in QPR. You don't need to be a mental health professional to learn and practice life-saving skills! Join us for this one-hour training to learn the warning signs of suicide, ways to offer hope, and how to refer for help. You'll receive a QPR certificate after finishing the class.
