Keep a youthful mind and creative spirit by doing improv. Learn to think on your feet, gain self-confidence, and improve skills for work or home while having fun! If you think this is just for young folks, the majority of our adult students are in their 50s and 60s, and the oldest was 99. The class culminates with an exciting recital for family and friends at Stevie Ray’s Comedy Cabaret, located at the famous Chanhassen Dinner Theaters! Don’t wait, check I performed comedy for a live audience off your bucket list. Classes are taught by instructors from Stevie Ray’s Improv Company, one of the longest running improv theaters in Minnesota. No experience necessary. -

Life Binders: Nurture and Prepare for Life
Learn how to create a Life Binder for an easily accessible organization system that allows for all of your important documents and records to be stored in one place; creating a worry free ability to find information when you need it the most. It is important to have a Life Binder at all stages of life; including going to college, moving, starting a new relationship, adding to your family, emergency planning, illness, and end of life planning. You will learn how to organize important information such as contact information, important paperwork, medical and financial information, and any directives for current needs for you and your loved ones.*Important Information: For this class, please come prepared with information on the life stage you want to plan for and work through. You can bring a journal, computer, documents, photos, etc. -
Scrapbook Journaling: Nurture Your Peace of Mind
Join in a general overview of scrapbook journaling and creating a scrapbook journal page. It is a versatile way to express creativity and preserve memories. Journal your thoughts, ideas, and memories by integrating personal reflections with creative layouts and decorative elements through storytelling, written entries, collage and mixed media. It can be used for writing, planning, or as a creative outlet using a whimsical, eclectic style with no strict rules. You decide how it is organized, allowing for customization based on themes or events. Some topics include: goals you set, garden planning, home decorating ideas; personal interests, hobbies; memories, special moments, and current life events.*Basic supplies will be provided. Please bring a personal journal and any photos/items that may be personal to use, we will provide magazines for pictures and words -
Vision Boards: Manifest and Nurture Your Goals
Create a Vision Board. Join us in an overview of vision boarding and create a collage of images and words representing a your wishes or goals, intended to serve as inspiration, motivation, or manifestations; a tangible way to visualize the process, not just the result.*Some basic supplies will be provided in class. Please bring any items they want to specifically use, such as a special journal, personal pictures or goal specific pictures, magazines or images.
