Each day, campers will use different survival skills, crafting tools, mining for materials, brewing potions, enchanting gear, and preparing for battle. Along the way, they’ll practice defeating mobs, complete quests, and discover the secrets of the Nether Then, jump into world-building with ready-made worlds and landscapes to set the stage. Extreme Robotics: Robo-WarsWeek 4: July 6-9Get ready for an exciting class filled with new builds and challenges! Students will take their engineering skills to the next level by constructing remote-controlled robots inspired by the popular Discovery Channel show BattleBots. Using LEGO® Robotics systems and specialized Technic™ engineering components, they’ll build extreme machines designed for competition. Robotic Builders: Hogwarts and Other KingdomsWeek 4: July 6-9Journey to the magical world of Harry Potter and other magical lands. Build and program magical-themed projects. Young imaginations soar! Students will be taught foundational building and introduced to programming concepts by learning about sensors, motors, and special technics components using LEGO® WeDo systems. Engineering: Crazy Action ContraptionsWeek 7: July 27-30Unleash your imagination as you journey through the wide-ranging world of LEGO® building. Working in pairs, students will build models and discuss the engineering science behind each creation. This engaging, hands-on class shows how engineering can be both silly and educational at the same time. Students will then be challenged to improve and customize their designs for added creativity. Hogwarts Film School & Coding CampWeek 8: August 3-6Create your own stop-motion animation using characters from the Harry Potter and Fantastical Beasts series. Students will build and design magical-themed scenes and props. Extreme Robotics: BattlebotsWeek 7: July 27-30Get ready for a week of building, coding, and competing! This camp combines the creativity of the LEGO building system with the excitement of robotics. Students will team up in groups of two to three to design and build their own LEGO robots, bring them to life with block-based programming, and take on daily challenges that inspire teamwork and problem solving. Students will build learning models to understand key robotics concepts, then customize and modify their design to take on new challenges.
