3D Printing: D&DWeek 10: August 17-20Discover the world of 3D design and printing with TinkerCAD in this creative, hands-on camp. Students will develop 3D modeling skills while designing a custom pendant, unique dice, and other Dungeons & Dragons–inspired projects. When not actively designing, campers can join themed challenges and games that extend their creativity while waiting for prints to finish. Each participant will have a pendant or keychain and a die printed and sent home at the end of camp. All printing and material fees are included. In this hands-on class, students will explore the world of cloud-based development while learning how coding powers modern games. Together, we will walk through building a sample project from start to finish, then students will design and develop a game of their own. Along the way, they will explore coding concepts such as variables, events, conditions, and functions while experimenting with design choices. Participants will work with a professional speed and strength coach to develop elite athletic movement patterns. Experienced lacrosse coaches will cover essential techniques, including cradling, catching, passing, shooting, dodging, ground balls, and defensive strategies.
