This is an Adults with Disabilities enrichment opportunity! Have a blast learning improv! It's a great way to work as a team and practice communicating and interacting with others in a fun way! No experience needed—just a willingness to laugh and try something new. Led by Stevie Ray’s Improv Company, one of Minnesota’s longest-running and most respected improv theaters, this fun and supportive class will help you develop creativity, communication, and performance skills you can use on or off the stage. *If a caregiver is registering, please register for the class under the participant's name. -

Air Fryer Veggies (Online)
Using an Air Fryer to cook vegetables is quick—and the healthy results are delicious! In this live online class Kirsten will demonstrate a variety of recipes using in-season local and/or commonly available vegetables including Lemon Pepper Broccoli, Miso Sesame Kale Chips, and Roasted Sweet Potatoes. Participants will receive an extensive handout along with the link to join prior to class. There will be ample time for questions during the session, and participants will receive a link to the recording afterwards so you can cook along at your convenience. As this course will be taught virtually, you will need access to video and audio on a computer, tablet or smartphone with internet connection. Class will be held live using the online platform Zoom, which is free to use. -
American Heart Association Heartsaver® CPR AED & First Aid Training Certification Course
Learn to follow a plan to act quickly and effectively in a life-threatening situation. You will be trained in CPR and Airway Obstruction for adults, children, and infants by practicing your skills with manikins and AED (Automated External Defibrillators) trainers. You will be practicing skills that require working on your hands and knees, bending, standing and lifting. Please inform your instructor if you have any physical conditions that might prevent these activities. Consider bringing a pad or blanket to kneel on. Additionally, this course covers first aid. Learn a plan of action to recognize and deal with sudden illnesses, injuries, and environmental emergencies. This video-based, instructor-led course teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. Successful participation in this all in-person course results in an American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Heartsaver® Certification. The Certificate is valid for two years. The course is the same for first timers and those who are recertifying. Note: We are back to fully in-person training. There is no e-Learning component to this course. -

Avoid the Pitfalls of Perimenopause/Menopause (online)
Perimenopause starts around the age of 35 for most women and can last 10-15 years. Common symptoms include fatigue, migraines, weight gain, water retention, depression, sleep disturbances, joint aches, hot flashes, anger flashes, migraines, fibroids, exaggerated PMS and more. Once you understand exactly what is causing all the troublesome symptoms, they are much easier to correct. We'll discuss how to get hormone levels measured - blood test vs. saliva test and what to do with the results; traditional HRT vs. bio-identical; acupressure points to assist in symptom relief and nutritional musts. You'll leave with multiple tools and techniques for restoring health and well-being. *This workshop is a source of information only and should by no means be considered a substitute for the advice of a qualified medical professional. Bike Repair/Maintenance: Trailside and Home
Many of your bike issues can be solved in this class! Major focus will be on identification of bicycle parts, trailside repair, shifting adjustments, brake adjustments, chain maintenance, how to repair/replace a tube (flat tire), how to safety check your bike. If time allows, we will also learn basic wheel truing, replacing a chain, how to replace brake and shifting cables. This 3-hour class will progress from basic knowledge and skills to more advanced information. Please bring a bike. Especially one that needs a tune up! -
Bike: Trailside Repair
Many possible issues and problems can and do occasionally occur when riding. We will work through flat tires, wheel issues, dropped chains, cleaning and lubing, replacing tires, and what to buy to handle the unfortunate issues. This is a mix of hands on and lecture. Please leave your bikes at home for this class. -
