Psychologically-Informed Yoga: Building Resilience from the Inside Out

Life can ask a lot of us. This class offers a supportive space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore yoga as a practice for steadiness, self-awareness, and everyday resilience.Psychologically-informed yoga blends gentle movement, breath, mindfulness, and reflection to help support the nervous system from the body up. Rather than focusing on performance, flexibility, or “getting it right,” this class invites you to notice what is happening in your body, mind, and surroundings with curiosity and compassion.

Together, we will explore simple practices that help you feel more grounded, present, and connected to yourself. You’ll be invited to notice sensations, thoughts, emotions, and the space around you without judgment, while building greater awareness of what supports your own sense of steadiness and capacity.

Resilience is not about pretending everything is fine or pushing through. It is about learning how to meet life as it is, with more compassion, awareness, and support. What you discover on the mat can become something you carry into everyday life — during stressful moments, transitions, challenges, and ordinary days alike.

*No prior yoga experience is needed. This class is welcoming, reflective, and accessible for a variety of bodies and experience levels. Please bring a yoga mat, water, and anything that helps you feel comfortable.
