American Heart Association Heartsaver® CPR AED & First Aid Training Certification CourseHealth and WellnessLearn to follow a plan to act quickly and effectively in a life-threatening situation. You will be trained in CPR and Airway Obstruction for adults, children, and infants by practicing your skills with manikins and AED (Automated External Defibrillators) trainers. You will be practicing skills that require working on your hands and knees, bending, standing and lifting. Please inform your instructor if you have any physical conditions that might prevent these activities. Consider bringing a pad or blanket to kneel on. Additionally, this course covers first aid. Learn a plan of action to recognize and deal with sudden illnesses, injuries, and environmental emergencies. This video-based, instructor-led course teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. Successful participation in this all in-person course results in an American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Heartsaver® Certification. The Certificate is valid for two years. The course is the same for first timers and those who are recertifying. Note: We are back to fully in-person training. There is no e-Learning component to this course.Summer 2026 Adult -

Major focus will be on identification of bicycle parts, trailside repair, shifting adjustments, brake adjustments, chain maintenance, how to repair/replace a tube (flat tire), how to safety check your bike. In this playful, hands-on camp, young creators dream up and build forts of all kinds—from cozy blanket hideaways to elaborate outdoor structures. Campers will collaborate to sketch their ideas (underground tunnels, maze forts, tree forts, and more) before bringing them to life using a variety of materials. Together, we’ll explore fort-building in nature, experiment with string and fabric, and even repurpose found objects. CMS MorningsCMS Mornings provides a designated space for students to work quietly on homework, spend supervised time in the gym, or be active outside before school starts. In addition, the program will include optional themed activities or projects, which may be offered on a weekly or monthly basis. These enrichment opportunities are designed to enhance the program experience, but participation is completely optional. Students will continue to have a choice in how they spend their time each morning. Students are dismissed from CMS Mornings to get ready for class once the busses start to arrive and the school is open for all students. CMS Mornings 2026-27 (Fall)CMS MorningsStart the Day Your Way at CMS Mornings! Need a safe, supervised place for your middle schooler before school? CMS Mornings gives students a welcoming space to start their day with friends, finish homework, get active, or simply relax before the school day begins.Students have the freedom to choose how they spend their morning in a safe, flexible environment that may include: 📚 Homework or quiet activities 🏀 Gym or outdoor games 😊 Time to socialize with friends 🎨 Optional themed activities and special projects throughout the year Our daily activities are designed to add even more fun to the morning, but participation is always optional. Students can continue to choose the activities that interest them. Upcoming themes and projects will be shared in the CMS Mornings Newsletter. Students may arrive anytime between 7:00 AM and 9:15 AM, making it easy to fit your family's morning routine. Registration Registration is completed by week and includes Monday–Friday attendance. Your student is welcome to attend as many or as few mornings during the week as your family needs, but registration is required for the full week. Weeks that include holidays or non-school days will be adjusted accordingly. Program fees are due at the time of registration. Schedule Changes & Cancellations Need to make a change? No problem!
