Air Fryer Veggies (Online)Culinary CreationsUsing an Air Fryer to cook vegetables is quick—and the healthy results are delicious! In this live online class Kirsten will demonstrate a variety of recipes using in-season local and/or commonly available vegetables including Lemon Pepper Broccoli, Miso Sesame Kale Chips, and Roasted Sweet Potatoes. Participants will receive an extensive handout along with the link to join prior to class. There will be ample time for questions during the session, and participants will receive a link to the recording afterwards so you can cook along at your convenience. As this course will be taught virtually, you will need access to video and audio on a computer, tablet or smartphone with internet connection. All Four Summer Mini-CampsMini Summer CampsStudents will engage in a four-day thematic camp with Little Eagles teachers and paraprofessionals. This registration is for all camps: (1) Splish, Splash, Water Fun (2) Ooey, Gooey Science (3) Camp Forest Friends and (4) Blast Off to Space. Each week, students will engage in hands-on learning opportunities for exploration as well as an extension of social-emotional learning and academic skills that are focused on during the school year. If you sign up by March 23, your child gets a free Little Eagles shirt Family Notes: Provide a snack and a water bottle. Send your child to school in a layer of sunscreen and close-toed shoes for outdoor play. Additional information will be sent out for each camp. All current school year tuition balances must be paid before attending summer programming. This is a drop-off class. American Heart Association Heartsaver® CPR AED & First Aid Training Certification CourseHealth and WellnessLearn to follow a plan to act quickly and effectively in a life-threatening situation. You will be trained in CPR and Airway Obstruction for adults, children, and infants by practicing your skills with manikins and AED (Automated External Defibrillators) trainers. You will be practicing skills that require working on your hands and knees, bending, standing and lifting. Please inform your instructor if you have any physical conditions that might prevent these activities. Consider bringing a pad or blanket to kneel on. Additionally, this course covers first aid. Learn a plan of action to recognize and deal with sudden illnesses, injuries, and environmental emergencies. This video-based, instructor-led course teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. Successful participation in this all in-person course results in an American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Heartsaver® Certification. The Certificate is valid for two years. Athleticism CampWeek 5: July 13-16DASH Sports Summer Athleticism camps provide participants with an overall athleticism building camp experience including speed training, agility, endurance, body control/balance, quickness, strength, power, and jumping. Camp consists of many different types of physical activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall athletic performance. All participants will be evaluated and timed on the first and last day of camp on several athletic tests.
