Eden LakeEagle Zone School Age Care2025–26 School Year (Current) What is new for 25-26 School Year? Morning Care Update: Due to low enrollment, morning care will not be offered at Forest Hills and Cedar Ridge for the 2025–2026 school year. Instead, families from Forest Hills and Cedar Ridge may utilize morning care at Oak Point/Eagle Heights Spanish Immersion. Drop-off is required by 7:15 AM, and students will be transported to their home schools using Eden Prairie school transportation. A consistent Monday-Friday schedule is required for all students attending morning care. This change does not impact afternoon care at either site. Please reach out with any questions regarding this! Eden Lake Junior Eagle Zone Add-On OptionsJunior Eagle ZoneJunior Eagle Zone Information 2025–26 School Year (Current) Junior Eagle Zone is a childcare program available to all Pre-K students enrolled in the Eden Prairie School District. Families must register at the same school where their child attends Pre-K preschool. Enrollment must match your child’s Pre-K schedule. For example, if your child is enrolled in a 4-day Pre-K class, you must register for the 4-day Junior Eagle Zone option. Likewise, students in a 5-day Pre-K class must register for the 5-day option. Please note that Junior Eagle Zone registration will only be accepted once your child’s Pre-K enrollment has been confirmed. Contract approvals will begin after March 2025. Junior Eagle Zone is not available on non-school days when classes are not in session. Families wishing to make schedule changes must submit requests at least two weeks in advance. This ensures we have appropriate staffing in place to provide a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for all students. We appreciate your partnership in making Eagle Zone a positive experience for your child! Family School 2025-2026Outreach ClassesOur Family School program offers free English classes for adults, Little Eagles preschool for 3 and 4 year olds, and an infant and toddler classroom for younger children or children 5 and under who are not enrolled in preschool. Adult English classes are provided by Metro South Adult Basic Education, and children's classes are staffed by early childhood educators. For the 2025-2026 school year, Family School will take place in person during the mornings. Preschoolers who are 3 year old by September 1, 2025 attend morning classes at Lower Campus Preschool Center. Preschoolers who are 4 years old by September 1, 2025 attend morning preschool at your assigned elementary school. Adults and any other children 5 and under who are not enrolled in preschool will attend classes two days a week at Lower Campus Early Childhood Center. Adult classes are on Mondays and Wednesdays or on Tuesdays and Thursdays, depending on your English level. If you see a note that this class is full, please enroll anyway. Everyone who enrolls in the class will be on the waitlist until we receive a test score from Metro South ABE and place you in a specific class section. Flavor Forward Spring Bowl Meals (Online)Culinary CreationsSpring into fresh flavors with Kirsten in this live online cooking class. We’ll start by preparing a grain base and a protein and while those are cooking we’ll make a sauce and some fresh sides, then assemble everything to enjoy now OR pack separately for meal prep. Participants will receive an extensive handout along with the link to join prior to class. There will be ample time for questions during the session, and participants will receive a link to the recording afterwards so you can cook along at your convenience.
