Cookie Bake & Take: Four Famous Ethnic CookiesCulinary CreationsImpress family and friends with these beautiful cookies for the holidays! Create the rolled Norwegian Krumkakes made with cream, butter, and cinnamon or sometimes flavored with vanilla. For generations, Minnesotans have purchased their irons to bake krumkakes from local manufacturer Nordic Ware in St. Louis Park. Italian Pizzelles are also baked on the top of the stove using an iron but are a flat, anise-flavored cookie or they also may be flavored with vanilla. The chewy, almond Swedish Sandbakkelse are delicate golden brown in color and are baked in tiny tins to resemble tarts. Finally, we will master deep fried Rosettes - those exceedingly fragile, paper thin Scandinavian delicacies dusted with confectioners' sugar. Expect great recipes plus the many tips and techniques that will make your baking a success! **An ingredients fee of $14 is payable to the instructor at class. ECFE Outdoors at Eden Prairie Outdoor CenterMultiple Ages**Class time takes place outdoors and indoors** Together, parents and children will explore nature through a variety of experiential, hands -on- outdoor and indoor activities. The great outdoors provides unique stimulation and heightens sensory experiences that can't be replicated indoors. Together, parents and children will learn about a new animal each week, observe flying squirrels, turtles, geckos and so much more inside the Outdoor Center. We will explore nature on a 15 minute hike, enjoy circle time, do art and maybe even watch animals eat their lunch! Activities will be led by a licensed teacher and naturalist with time built in to explore. $80 per session, sign up for a single class or all three! The indoor classroom at the Outdoor Center will be used when the weather is too cold or rainy. Siblings that are under the age of 1 yr/no registration fee.ECFE 2026/2027 -
EPIC Youth ProgramsEPIC Enrichment Cancellation Policy: Please note that all requests for course modifications or cancellations must be submitted in writing and received by EPIC via email at EPIC@edenpr.org at least 7 calendar days before the start date of the class in order to receive a full refund. Cancellation requests made within the 7-day notice period will NOT be eligible for a refund. Additionally, cancellations requested after the class has begun will NOT be refunded under any circumstances. A $10 processing fee will be applied to any EPIC enrichment class cancellation request. If EPIC cancels a class... Weather Related Cancellations: All EPIC classes are held in school buildings. If the school district closes due to inclement weather, all school-related events, including EPIC classes, will also be canceled. If we cancel an EPIC class due to weather, you will receive a refund for the missed day, or we will attempt to reschedule the class. Cancellations Due to Low Enrollment: EPIC classes that do not meet the minimum enrollment requirements will be canceled 7 calendar days prior to the scheduled start date. Morning care for Prairie View, Eden Lake, Oak Point & Eagle Heights, will be hosted at site. New! - Morning care requires a Monday–Friday schedule selection. Individual day registrations will not be accepted. “Pick-your-day” scheduling is available for afternoon programming only.After Care: Eagle Zone registration is a “pick your day” schedule. Schedules are created by picking your days in the system. Families need at least one day on the schedule to create a contract. Additional days can be added at no extra cost prior to August, 25th 2026, following August 25th contract changes will need to be made with a fourteen-day notice.
