Bicycle Repair and MaintenanceWeek 5: July 13-164 Day Camps will teach you basic bike set up, trailside repair, shifting adjustments, brake adjustments, learn how to re-cable a bike for shifting and brakes, tube replacement, tips & tricks, and preparing a bike for selling (if interested), Students are free to bring a different bike to each class. Major focus will be on identification of bicycle parts, trailside repair, shifting adjustments, brake adjustments, chain maintenance, how to repair/replace a tube (flat tire), how to safety check your bike. If time allows, we will also learn basic wheel truing, replacing a chain, how to replace brake and shifting cables. This 3-hour class will progress from basic knowledge and skills to more advanced information. Please bring a bike. Especially one that needs a tune up!Winter/Spring 2026 Adult -
Bike: Trailside RepairHobbiesMany possible issues and problems can and do occasionally occur when riding. We will work through flat tires, wheel issues, dropped chains, cleaning and lubing, replacing tires, and what to buy to handle the unfortunate issues. This is a mix of hands on and lecture. Each week, students will engage in hands-on learning opportunities for exploration as well as an extension of social-emotional learning and academic skills that are focused on during the school year. If you sign up by March 23, your child gets a free Little Eagles shirt Family Notes: Provide a snack and a water bottle. Send your child to school in a layer of sunscreen and close-toed shoes for outdoor play. Additional information will be sent out for each camp. All current school year tuition balances must be paid before attending summer programming. This is a drop-off class. Bob Ross Oil Painting Paint It & Take It Class - Sunset AglowCreatePaint your own 20x16 masterpiece in this 3-hour class where you'll learn the techniques used in the Bob Ross wet-on-wet style of oil painting as seen on T.V. Each of our Bob Ross Paint & Take Classes provides a different landscape which may feature mountains, trees, rivers, lakes and sunsets. This class features "Sunset Aglow" (see course photo). Build & Defend: Strategy Game CodingWeek 4: July 6-9Get ready to take charge in this action-packed coding camp! Students will design and program their own Tower Defense–style game while learning the fundamentals of programming. Using Construct 3, a visual coding platform, they’ll explore how game frameworks work and practice coding concepts such as variables, events, conditions, and loops. Campers will create paths, position defensive towers, and program waves of enemies to challenge their defenses. In this playful, hands-on camp, young creators dream up and build forts of all kinds—from cozy blanket hideaways to elaborate outdoor structures. Campers will collaborate to sketch their ideas (underground tunnels, maze forts, tree forts, and more) before bringing them to life using a variety of materials. Together, we’ll explore fort-building in nature, experiment with string and fabric, and even repurpose found objects.
