Chess Club
Want to amaze your friends and impress your opponents? Want to increase your IQ while having fun playing Chess and compete for various prizes? Learn from Twin Cities Chess Club instructors who have years of teaching experience. Competitive chess tournaments are scheduled once a year and students can play for real chess trophies! All chess levels are welcome. -
EPIC Art: Story Behind the Mask
Masks are powerful works of art that tell stories, express identity, and honor cultural traditions. In this hands-on class, students explore how cultures around the world use masks in storytelling, ceremony, and performance while learning about symbolism, color, and design. Inspired by these traditions, students will design and create their own original masks and share the story behind their artistic choices. -
EPIC CMS Lunch Bunch Week 3
Lunch Bunch is a supervised midday option for students enrolled in both a morning and an afternoon EPIC course. Students remain onsite with EPIC staff for lunch and outdoor recess (weather permitting). Families must provide a cold lunch, water bottle, and sunscreen. -
EPIC Chefs: Food Entrepreneurs
Turn a food idea into a business concept! Students will design and refine a food product while learning the basics of branding, marketing, and customer choice. This creative, hands-on camp encourages teamwork, innovation, and entrepreneurial thinking—no prior cooking experience required. -
Extreme Robotics: Robo-Beasts & Monster Machines
Students will begin by building robotic beasts and monster machines such as a Robo-Dog, Mega-Gorilla, Insectoid Bot, and the Scorpion Warrior. Once their robots are built, they’ll dive into programming to make them move, attack or even think on their own. This hands-on camp is both fun and educational, teaching the foundations of building, coding, and problem solving through robotics. Working in teams, students will then be challenged to modify and re-engineer their robots to become better, stronger, and faster. Every day brings new opportunities to create, experiment, and compete. -
Flag Football
DASH Sports Summer Flag Football camps provide players with a well-rounded football experience in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced daily, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with scrimmages/games the final day where players can showcase their skills. Athletes should bring a wear sunscreen, and bring a water bottle and a snack (spikes/cleats, and mouthguards are optional). Flag belts, and football are provided. -
Poetry and Watercolors
Do you like to notice little details — the sound of rain, the color of a sunset, or the way your pet tilts its head? Let's turn those real-world observations into beautiful poetry and art! By the end of the program, you’ll have your own mini collection of illustrated poems that show how you see the world. -
Rock N Roll Band Camp
Do you want to rock and roll all night, and party every day? Students will get the chance to try their voice or hand at a variety of instruments including the electric guitar, bass, keyboards, and drums, with the goal of learning a full song or two to perform by the end of the week. -
Track & Field
DASH Sports Summer Track & Field camps provide participants with practice in several areas including: sprinting, throwing (javelin and shot put), relay running, long jumping and distance running. Emphasis is on technique and proper form. All players will be timed/tested on the first and last day. Camp consists of many different types of physical activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall track and field performance. Campers should wear sunscreen, bring a water bottle, snack, and wear athletic clothing/shoes. -
Video Game Design: Platformer
Get hands-on experience with designing your own video game from scratch! Students will create their own platform game, using Construct 3, a visual coding platform that teaches students the basics and structure of programming. Learn to develop engaging gameplay. Experiment with different power-ups, enemies, and boss battles to make your game exciting and fun. Bring a USB drive to save your games on the last day.
