Growing and Cooking with the SunWeek 2: June 22-25The sun is your best friend if you know how to use it! This class teaches how to cook with just the sun. Solar cooking bypasses traditional cooking means. No electricity, gas, charcoal, or wood needed for solar cooking. Students will learn how to cook meals, dry food for preservation, and purify water all with the sun. In the end, students will build their own mini sun oven and take home an edible micro green plant.Summer 2026 Youth -
Hacking MinecraftWeek 6: July 20-23One of the most popular video games in history, Minecraft, opens a world of endless possibilities limited only by imagination. In this camp, students will go beyond regular gameplay to “hack” Minecraft by learning how to modify and enhance their worlds. They’ll use popular game mods, experiment with building challenges, and unlock hidden features that change the way the game is played. Students will also create and edit custom skins and textures, personalizing their worlds to match their style. Along the way, they’ll explore how commands, mods, and creative tools work together to expand Minecraft’s potential. This camp uses the PC/Java edition of Minecraft. Help Save a Life from Suicide with QPR TrainingHealth and WellnessQPR means Question, Persuade, Refer, which are three steps to help save a life from suicide. Your instructor is trained by the QPR Institute, whose mission is "to save lives and reduce suicidal behaviors by providing innovative, practical and proven suicide prevention training." Just like individuals trained in CPR can help save lives, so, too, can individuals trained in QPR. You don't need to be a mental health professional to learn and practice life-saving skills! Join us for this one-hour training to learn the warning signs of suicide, ways to offer hope, and how to refer for help. Hip Hop & Roll DanceWeek 6: July 20-23Dance and tumble in this fun-filled camp! Learn a variety of Hip Hop moves, along with basic tumbling and breakdancing skills. We will put it all together in a routine to show off at the end of the week! Additional activities include crafts and games. Wear tennis shoes, no sandals. Bring a snack and water bottle each day. Hogwarts Film School & Coding CampWeek 8: August 3-6Create your own stop-motion animation using characters from the Harry Potter and Fantastical Beasts series. Students will build and design magical-themed scenes and props. Then, they will handle all the technical details of filming scenes, including stop-motion, digital editing, special effects, and transitions to the movie. Students will create digital animations and participate in our Harry Potter-themed STEAM activities. Students should have basic reading skills and be comfortable using a computer.
